Sopore, Feb 5: An Army personnel was found unconscious at an Army sentry post in Sopore during night, sources said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the Junjo Sentry Post. The deceased has been identified as Sepoy Jatinder Singh,aged 25 years.
They said that the jawan was immediately shifted for medical assistance but was declared dead at the hospital. Subsequently, the body was moved to Badami Bagh, Srinagar, for completion of administrative and medico-legal formalities.
The exact cause and circumstances leading to the incident are under investigation. Further details are awaited. (KNC)
