Illegal Mining Curbed in Kulgam, Three Tractors Seized During Police Action

Kulgam, Apr 15: Acting against illegal mining activities, Kulgam Police on Wednesday seized three tractors during routine patrolling in Frisal and Tengbal Kujjar areas of the district.

As per details available with news agency JKNS, the vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction of minerals and were immediately taken into custody by the police team.

In this connection, FIR No. 20/2026 and FIR No. 21/2026 have been registered at Police Station Yaripora, and further investigation has been initiated.
