Lt Gen Balbir Singh assumes command of Chinar Corps

Srinagar, May 01: Lieutenant General Balbir Singh on Friday assumed charge as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the strategically crucial XV Corps (Chinar Corps) of Army.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), on assuming the command, Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Balbir Singh extended his warm greetings to the ‘Awaam of Kashmir’.

Chinar Corps Commander reaffirmed his commitment to work in close synergy with the Civil Administration and the Awaam to advance lasting stability and inclusive growth in the region.

He reasserted his resolve to maintain robust and coordinated partnership with civil administration, security forces and populace to further strengthen the foundation of peace, progress and prosperity across the Kashmir Valley.
