J&K Sports council announces open selection trials for UT Sub-Junior Girls’ football team

Srinagar, July 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has invited talented and aspiring young footballers to participate in the Open Selection Trials for the J&K UT Sub-Junior Girls’ Football Team, which will represent the Union Territory at the Sub-Junior Girls’ National Football Championship 2026 organised under the aegis of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

According to the Sports Council, the open trials for players from Jammu and Kashmir divisions will be held on July 13 and 14, while the final selection trials for shortlisted players are scheduled for July 16 and 17. All trials will commence at 10:00 AM.

The council said the trials are open to girls born between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014, who are residents of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Participants have been asked to carry all mandatory documents along with a complete playing kit as specified in the official notification.
