Srinagar, Aug 1: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) Jammu & Kashmir president Vivek Bali on Saturday strongly condemned the terror attack in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district that claimed the lives of two migrant labourers.
In a statement, Bali described the killing of innocent civilians as a “cowardly and inhuman act” and expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He extended condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
He said terrorism has no place in a civilised society and such acts are aimed at disrupting peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the security agencies to identify those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice at the earliest.
Bali also called on the administration to ensure adequate safety and security for workers and civilians across the Union Territory and intensify efforts to eliminate the perpetrators of terrorism.
Reaffirming SBSP’s commitment to peace and unity, he said the party stands in solidarity with the bereaved families and supports all efforts to maintain peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
