Srinagar, August 15: A spirited display of Judo, Yoga and Taekwondo by J&K Sports Council athletes added to the patriotic fervour of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, with the performance earning the team the second prize.
The 80th Independence Day celebrations were held in a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism, with the venue beautifully adorned in the Tricolour, creating a strong sense of national pride, unity and celebration.
The performance showcased was highly appreciated and applauded by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah, distinguished dignitaries and the enthusiastic audience.
The spectacular demonstration was adjudged the Second Best Performance, earning the J&K Sports Council a prize in recognition of the outstanding presentation.
