Poonch, Aug 28: Body of an infant was recovered by police from Bedar Nullah in Poonch district on Friday.

Official sources told GNS that the male infant’s body was later brought to Government Sub District Hospital Mandi for legal formalities. Later it was handed over to members of the civil society Mandi who buried it in a graveyard near Jama Masjid Mandi by civil society, they said.

Meanwhile, a police officer told GNS that the a case has been registered and investigation taken up. (GNS)
