Two persons injured in bear attack in Tangmarg

Baramulla, July 27: Two persons were on Monday critically injured in separate incidents of bear attack in Ferozpora and Ganiwani village of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a lady was in a vegetable garden near her residential house when she was attacked by a bear, leaving her severely wounded.
The injured has been identified as Saja Begum, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Lone of Ferozepora who was shifted to SKIMS hospital for treatment.
In a similar incident, a man was attacked by the bear in his orchards and left him grievously injured.
The injured was identified as Hilal Ahmad Khan, son of Bilal Ahmad Khan of Ganiwani Tangmerg, who was also shifted to SKIMS for further treatment—(KNO)
