Arms, ammo recovered in Bla

Baramulla, Aug 31: The security forces on Monday claimed to have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the joint team of 5 JAT and Police launched a massive CASO in Banalo forest.

“During search operation, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition including two dismental AK 47, two AK Magazine, 74 AK rounds, 10 grenades, one pistol , two radio sets, Pak currency Rs 4000 and one pouch was recovered,” they said.

A police official said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
