Thieves steal over 20 sheep from Shopian village

Shopian, July 7: Cattle thieves stole over 20 sheep of a man in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The theft incident occurred during the intervening night of July 6 and 7 at Mugalpora Keegam village.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that one Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani son of Noor Muhammad Wani registered a complaint at police station claiming that thieves stole over 20 sheep from his shed located at Mugalpora Keegam village of Shopian.

The incidents of cattle theft is not uncommon in countryside of Kashmir.
