Shahbaz Mushtaq: A talented writer from Pulwama who publishes his first book

Pulwama, Aug 24: A youth from South Kashmir’s Pulwama who is known for his writing skills has published his first book titled “Hasraton K Sirhanay”.

Shahbaz Mushtaq aka Shahi Shahbaz a resident of Washbugh Pulwama who is student of Government Degree College for Boys Pulwama launched his book at GDC Pulwama where his work was appreciated by all.

Shahbaz while talking with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that Hasraton K Sirhanay is his maiden book which comprises of ghazals and nazms in which various topics have been touched.

“I have tried to express my opinions on various day to day social issues besides I have also tried to jot down experiences in various daily happenings,” he said.

“I have been writing on different social issues since the last several years and my work was being published in leading papers of Kashmir,” Shahbaz said.

He said that social issues like the discrimination on the bases of colour, religion, caste have been the subjects of his book besides that “I have tried to express my views about nature, urdu language and the book talks about Sufism also.”

“My message to budding writers is to carry on your dreams, write less and read more. We have so many writers out there but the number of readers is less. It is necessary to become a good reader in order to be a writer,” he said—(KNO)
