Several Flights Cancelled at Srinagar Airport Due to Bad Weather, Operational Issues

Srinagar, Dec 19: Srinagar International Airport authorities on Friday announced the cancellation of several flights scheduled for today, citing adverse weather conditions and operational reasons.

In an advisory issued on X as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Srinagar airport authorities informed passengers that multiple incoming and outgoing flights from Srinagar (SXR) stand cancelled for the day. Passengers have been advised to reconfirm the status of their flights with the respective airlines before proceeding to the airport.

According to the details shared, flights operated by Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet to and from destinations including Delhi, Amritsar, and Kolkata have been cancelled due to bad weather at destination airports as well as operational constraints.

Airport authorities expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to passengers and urged them to stay updated through official airline channels for further information.
