Pandemonium in Assembly over LoP’s alleged remarks against Pir Panjal

Jammu, Feb 04: The Legislative Assembly was on Tuesday adjourned for 15 minutes after pandemonium, with ruling alliance MLAs demanding that Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma apologise for his purported remarks against the Pir Panjal region.

As soon as Question Hour ended, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Congress MLA Iftikhar Ahmad from Rajouri stood up, demanding that the Leader of the Opposition apologise for his remarks against the Pir Panjal region. Other MLAs of the ruling alliance also rose and supported the demand.

The BJP MLAs stood up in response to counter the protesting lawmakers from the ruling alliance.

“Dixon Plan Nahin Chalega, Dixon Plan Nahin Chalega (The Dixon Plan will not work),” the BJP MLAs shouted back.
