11th Class Student Found Dead In Mysterious Condition In Mendhar Poonch

Jammu, February 26: A 20-year-old boy was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his home in the Mendhar area of Poonch district on Thursday.

Officials said that during the night hours of Wednesday, a youth was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home. The deceased has been identified as Wajid Ali (20), son of Mohd Reyaz, a resident of Kaniti, currently living in Mendhar and was studying in 11th Class.

A police team soon reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
