Poonch, Sep 27: Wildlife team Poonch rescued a leopard cub trapped in wires in Balakote area of Mendhar near the Line of Control (LoC).
Range Officer Wildlife Poonch Haroon Mushtaq confirmed to GNS that the cub was found entangled in wires and was rescued by the team.
“The cub was trapped in wires. If not rescued in time, it could have died,” the Range Officer said.
The rescued cub has been handed over to Rajouri Wildlife team for further care.
Locals appreciated the Range Officer and his team for saving the life of the cub.(GNS)
