Anantnag, Sep 27: A massive forest fire has engulfed Badoora Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Officials told GNS that the fire broke out in a Compartment of Kokernag Range and spread rapidly in the area.
Fire tenders from Achabal, forest department teams and locals are on the job to douse the flames, they said.
The cause of fire and extent of damage was not immediately known.
