Poonch, Aug 04: The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of Sub Division Mendhar in Poonch district.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that on Tuesday morning, Pakistan army violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked firing  in areas of Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.

Many areas including Dabraj, Sagra, Balnoi and others have got affected, they said.

“Pakistan Army used High Explosive 120 mm mortar shells to target areas,” he said, adding that around half a dozen houses were partially damaged while around ten to twelve cattle were also injured.
