Police raids jewellery shop in Poonch main market, recovers AK-47 rounds, Pak currency & flags

Poonch, Sep 19: Police along with FSL team and Naib Tehsildar raided a jewellery shop in Main Market Poonch on Friday night and claimed to have recovered ammunition and Pakistani material.

Officials told GNS that at around 2000 hours, a police party from Police Station Poonch along with FSL team and Naib Tehsildar raided the jewellery shop of Davinder Singh S/o Narinder Singh R/o Mohalla Khorinar, Poonch at Main Market Poonch.

During search, the team claimed to have recovered AK-47 rounds, Pakistani currency of 105 rupees, Pakistani posters and Pakistani flags.

The raid concluded at 2200 hours, officials said, adding that further details will be communicated accordingly.(GNS)
